Helderberg Farm
Strawberry Picking at Helderberg Farm
One of the few pick-your-own strawberry farms in the Cape. October to December, you can head into the fields and fill a punnet yourself, kids love it. The animal farmyard with chickens, ducks, goats and bunnies is open year-round. Feed sold at the tea garden. No picking on Sundays.

Morgenster is one of very few estates in South Africa producing both premium wine and olive oil at this level. The combined tasting walks you through their Italian-varietal wines alongside estate-pressed extra virgin olive oils, a genuinely different format. The Giulio Experience for two adds a five-wine tasting and Italian platter.

Heritage & Garden Tour at Vergelegen
A 75-minute guided walk through Vergelegen's 300-year-old Cape Dutch homestead, its 17 themed gardens, and camphor trees declared National Monuments in 1942. The estate is a Provincial Heritage Site and nominated for World Heritage status. Groups depart from the tasting room at 09:30. Book at least 24 hours ahead by email.

Waterkloof sits on Schapenberg Hill above Somerset West, the glass-walled tasting room looks out over False Bay and the Helderberg basin in a way most estates can't match.
